    Ecuador

Highlights in Quito = World’s First City Declared Unesco Site

This was the first real day of exploration! Boy was I excited and nervous as I processed the fact that I came to this country by myself and didn't even tell my mom I signed up for this tour alone (didn't want to freak her out!)

Ecuador Ama La Vida! (…And Its Accommodations)

Since this is the most recent trip I've been on, it only makes sense for this to be my first REAL TRAVEL post! Let’s note that this was my first time in South America. Ecuador is the true embodiment of nature's beauty! It is one of those countries that is outshined by its neighbor Peru because of Machu Picchu :-/. However, it has so much to offer from the largest neo-Gothic basilica in the world to the vibrant butterfly colors in the Amazon.

Must Have Foods While in Ecuador

I am a foodie. I love to eat! Food tastes good. I used to be QUITE the picky eater as a child. I only wanted chicken, hence my mom called me "chicken lady." I guess you are what you eat. As an adult, especially now that I travel a lot, I have been pushed out of my comfort zone to try different foods.
