Your Educator in Motion is ready to speak & facilitate to your audiences about Black travel across conferences, communities, and continents!

I believe the most memorable learning does not happen inside a classroom. It happens when people are engaged in conversation and in motion. Through workshops, keynotes, community dialogue, and my personal favorite, travel, learning becomes lived and lasting.

As a trained, nationally award-winning high school educator, administrator, and adjunct professor with more than 15 years of speaking experience, I have facilitated spaces as intimate as four people and as expansive as 600+. No matter the room size, the goal is the same: to move people, both literally and figuratively.

My speaking has reached a wide range of settings & audiences:

Let’s Bring Black Travel & Storytelling to the Forefront

Every destination has Black stories worth telling. Every community has Black businesses, experiences, and histories that deserve to be seen, understood, and celebrated. And every destination, traveler, and creator has an opportunity to engage with, experience, and share those stories in more meaningful ways.

Through engaging keynotes and workshops, I help audiences explore Black travel and storytelling from multiple perspectives: the destination, the traveler, and the storyteller (creator).

    • For destinations and tourism organizations, I unpack how to uncover, curate, and communicate the lesser-known Black stories, businesses, and experiences already woven into a place.
    • For travelers, I challenge them to look beyond the traditional tourist narrative and engage more intentionally with the communities and stories they encounter.
    • And for creators, I explore how we can tell more nuanced, authentic, and inclusive stories about the places we visit.

My talks bring together travel, education, Black history, and storytelling to challenge audiences to think differently about whose stories are being told, how destinations are represented, and what becomes possible when we expand the narrative.

    Real Stories, Real Impact

Here’s what clients say after working with Dr. Franny.

“It was one of the best messages I’ve heard a keynote speaker give.”

Dr. Francois delivered nothing short of an earth-shattering experience. From the moment she took the floor, she commanded the room with intention, authenticity, and purpose, holding the full attention of over 100 seniors with ease and power. The energy never left. The message never missed. What made this talk exceptional was the transparency. The honesty. The willingness to speak truth without sugarcoating, while still leaving students inspired, affirmed, and motivated for what lies ahead. Our seniors didn’t just listen, they leaned in. They connected. They felt seen. So much so that when the talk ended, our students didn’t want it to. They asked for more. They wanted to continue the conversation. That alone speaks volumes.

We are deeply grateful for Dr. Francois, who understood the room, honored the moment, and left our seniors changed in the best way.

Mariame Kante (Director of Culture, Family Engagement & DEI at MESA Charter High School)

We were truly honored to have Princess with us. We appreciate her for making the time in her schedule to be present and for being such a powerful example of Black excellence at our Black History Month Assembly. It was powerful for our student community to see a woman pursue her dreams with courage rather than settle. She made us proud as an alumna of our student body, and she continues to do so as she takes bold leaps of faith: evolving, growing, and thriving through every chapter of her journey.

    FOR TRAVELERS

[Signature Talk] What Does It Mean to Travel with Intention?: How to Move from Seeing Places to Supporting People

This workshop helps travelers move beyond simply seeing places to supporting the people, businesses, and communities that make them meaningful.

What if travel could be more than somewhere you go? What if it could be a way to connect with and contribute to the communities you visit?

Travel is an opportunity to do more than see new places. It is an opportunity to learn the stories of the people and communities who make those places what they are, support the businesses that sustain them, and be more intentional about the impact we leave behind.

In this engaging and thought-provoking talk, Dr. Franny invites travelers to rethink what it means to travel with purpose. Through her Support BLACK™ framework, participants discover practical ways to Buy, Learn, Amplify, Celebrate, and Knowingly support Black communities wherever they travel.

Drawing from her experiences as a Black traveler, educator, and storyteller, Dr. Franny shows audiences how small, intentional choices can transform the way they plan trips, spend their travel dollars, engage with local communities, and tell the stories of the places they visit.

    • A new perspective on what it means to travel with intention
    • The Support BLACK™ framework for engaging with Black communities while traveling
    • Practical ways to incorporate the framework into their own trips

    Testimonials Speak Louder

Here’s what clients say after working with Dr. Franny.

“She delivered practical strategies that were immediately actionable while creating a supportive, engaging space for participants.”

Franny seriously brought so much critical information to share. The discussions were meaningful and important to all who attended. I just loved her recommendations for using the Eat Okra app, which museums to go see, and googling the Black Heritage Trail to get a real sense of Black history. Amazing work! I know people are inspired to travel with a more Black frame of mind on their upcoming trips!

I also really appreciated the actual presentation, visually and auditorily (but that’s why I love having teachers come share with our community)! It was really well put together and presented. Having said that, we’d LOVE for her to present to our community again.

Erica Hackman (Director of Community at The Nomadic Network)

Princess, or better yet, Dr. Franny, is an exceptional facilitator who brings THE LIGHT, the vibes, the clarity, infectious energy, and purpose to every workshop she leads. She also has this persona that just gives you the confidence and ‘I am here for you’ attitude always, and you can feel it. During her LinkedIn Branding Workshop, she delivered practical, immediately actionable strategies while creating a supportive, engaging space for participants. I walked away with renewed confidence, a clearer professional brand, and concrete next steps. And my LinkedIn persona definitely changed after that. She has a rare ability to both inspire and equip her audience. And I also always looked forward to her outfits, so stylish and bold.

    FOR CREATORS

[Signature Talk] What Story Are You Telling?: How to Shift from Just Content to Context

This workshop helps creators move beyond simply creating content to uncovering stories, providing context, and amplifying the people and communities behind the places they visit.

What story are you telling about the places you visit, and whose story might be missing?

Every destination has stories beyond the obvious. But as creators, what we choose to capture, highlight, and share shapes how our audiences see a place and the people who call it home.

In this engaging talk, Dr. Franny challenges creators to look beyond the landmark, ask whose stories may be missing, and create travel content that does more than showcase a destination. Drawing from her experience as a travel educator, storyteller, and creator, she introduces the Support BLACK™ framework as a lens for creating more intentional, inclusive, and responsible travel content.

    Audiences will leave with:

    • Strategies for uncovering lesser-known stories, voices, businesses, and experiences

This workshop helps creators use their platform data to understand what is resonating, make smarter content decisions, and grow with intention.

Are you creating content based on what you think your audience wants, or what your data is actually telling you?

Growing a platform is not just about creating more content. It is about understanding what is working, recognizing patterns, and using those insights to make smarter decisions about what you create next.

In this interactive workshop, Dr. Franny helps creators move beyond vanity metrics and guesswork to use their platform data as a tool for intentional growth. The Proof is in the People

Here’s what clients say after working with Dr. Franny.

“From the moment she began speaking, she had our full attention. Not because she was loud or flashy, but because she was real. She spoke with honesty, purpose, and
intention in a way that made us feel seen and understood. It didn’t feel like someone talking at us, it felt like someone speaking with us.”

Her career readiness workshop genuinely shifted how I approach professional opportunities.  What stood out most was how actionable her guidance was. After the workshop, I used my program stipend to invest in professional attire and began treating every event, interview, and opportunity, virtual or in person, as if it were my first job. That mindset shift had a real impact. During my first year in the program, I secured an opportunity with Boxed, and I am confident that the way I showed up professionally played a role in opening that door and allowing me to stay in the room.

Princess does not just teach professionalism. She models it. Her ability to connect, communicate, and empower others makes her an exceptional speaker and facilitator. Any organization looking to prepare talent to show up confidently, intentionally, and competitively would greatly benefit from her work.

Malik Aldridge (Fellow Alum of America Needs You)

Princess is a uniquely strong workshop facilitator, shaped by years as a growth-oriented educator. She understands how to engage any type of crowd and focuses on eliciting voice through breakout discussions and activities that foster community; her facilitation style builds safety and trust within her audience, allowing for vulnerability and growth. There are countless little things that Princess does to create this efficacy; she plans out the big and small, from name tags to breakout assignments to anticipated responses and questions that will push the group’s thinking.
