    About Me

Hey Y'all! I am Franny the Traveler

    Who Am I?

You can call me Dr. Franny or
    Your Educator in Motion™!

I am Dr. Princess François: a proud Brooklyn-bred, Haitian-bled traveler, educator, and curator on a personal mission to make every destination a Black destination. By day, I’m an award-winning education changemaker and entrepreneur. By adventure, I’m a bucketlist chaser on a quest to visit all 50 states and 50 countries by the age of 50, while sharing untold Black stories and spotlighting Black-owned businesses.

My vibe? Sprinkling bold & vibrant Leo energy as a conscious Black Travel Educator. I mix economic empowerment, education, amplification, and celebration through travel to support Black communities. Together, we'll travel consciously with context, connection, and care.

I am Your Educator in Motion™

What does it actually mean to be
    Your Educator in Motion™!

For me, it means I am not confined to a classroom, a school, or a single way of showing up.

It looks like educating across spaces. From stages to classrooms, from digital platforms to physical books.

It looks like creating learning experiences that do not just sit in theory but are felt, explored, and lived in real time.

It looks like designing workshops and experiences where people are not just listening, but moving, engaging, and in conversation.

It looks like traveling and learning from places, people, and untold histories, then bringing those lessons back to my work.

It looks like grounding learning in place, culture, and lived experience so it actually sticks.

While this usually requires a little explanation, it almost always leads to “oh, that is interesting… and that makes sense for you.”

And it does make sense because being an educator in motion means I am always learning and always teaching.
