Education is my passion!
Have you ever thought about the overlap of travel and education?ย For me, travel IS a form of educationโ it is the best education that I will ever receive! Every travel excursion has added a layer of understanding to my knowledge of people, of food, of culture, of history. It is how I learn about the untold and nuanced histories not often featured in schools — although as an educator, I am working towards bringing that untold knowledge in the “classrooms” through racial equity & anti-racism work!ย
As my career, I educate students and staff through my position as a non profit executive director. As my personal passion, I educate others through my travel blog where I literally share tips and stories to educate and inspire others about travel!
My brand started off with me just wanting to share my travels because people would always ask me for tips in .

Although my travel journey only began 8 years ago โ the 1st time I got on a plane was at age 22 to a National science teacher Conference in Indianapolis โ I have covered a lot of ground and learned a lot in a short period to time.
Iโve been to over twoย dozenย countries ย ๐บ.
I’ve been to nearly 3 dozen states (70% of the states) in the USAย ๐บ๐ธ, hoping to visit all 50!

Red: a color of passion, love, and adventure for all things travelย
Green: ย a color of growth and renewal, the impact of travel
Black:ย a color of strength that comes from being a Black woman. I support Black all day, every day โ Black people, Black history & culture, Black businesses, Black creators, Black travel… ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ธย
Yellow, Red, Green, and Black are all colors that are part of the African Diaspora
Yellow:ย the richness of the African people, both material and spiritual wealth
Red:ย the blood that unites all people of Black African ancestry, and shed for liberation
Green: ย the abundant and vibrant natural wealth of Africa, the Motherland
Black:ย Black people’s skin color; also serves to indicate the strength of their community.
